. . . because we love the game of golf but wouldn’t be caught dead in the clothes.
Twin sisters, Willow and Cassie Wayne, founded death to Argyle out of necessity.
Every time they entered a pro-shop to buy "appropriate golf attire," they spotted only one possible purchase- a boy's polo. Honestly frightened by the pastels and matronly nature of most ladies golf clothes, they resigned themselves to dressing like 12-year-old boys. “Better that, than to look like Easter eggs” became their motto.
As the girl's love of golf progressed, they knew something had to change. The clothes were good for a laugh, but as some would say Willow isn't known for her sense of humour. So from necessity, Death To Argyle was created. Joining Willow’s fashion-design with Cassie’s purchasing background, they created hip golf clothes that women and girls actually want to wear. Straying from pastels, the line combines modern trends and retro references so that the golf clothes are stylish as well as functional, and that go from the green to the 19th hole.
